John Muir Wilderness – Sierra Nevada
I took a weekend trip to the central Sierra Nevada into the John Muir Wilderness in preparation for a longer trip next month. This tree day two night trip started at Lake Thomas Edison from where we hiked up to Devils Bathtub the first night then over the ridge to Graveyard Lakes. While the night sky was visible high clouds and light pollution from Fresno California had its effect. The complete lack of moon light also contributed the a very dark foreground after astronomical twilight was over.
